Influence Senators

  • +1 experience for new dignitaries
Description

Relations within the Triumvirate were not always harmonious. Compared to Caesar and Crassus, Pompey was a traditionalist. He sought to maintain his standing and his part in their alliance was, much like the others, politically expedient. In an attempt to balance their relationship, Caesar tried to increase Crassus’ Senatorial support. Although Crassus himself had the funds to bribe his peers, his use of Sulla’s proscriptions to seize wealth after the Civil Wars had tarnished his reputation somewhat.
