Fatigue

Fatigue

As a battle progresses, the units involved gradually become exhausted due to the high level of physical effort required to run and fight for such a protracted length of time. Once a unit becomes exhausted, even moving slowly becomes a great effort, leaving them particularly vulnerable to cavalry charges. In order to combat fatigue, do not run everywhere and ensure that your troops are adequately reinforced before they become exhausted.
